Join us for director Greta Gerwig's fantasy comedy Barbie story.
Zonta Club of Wellington are holding a film fundraising event for local and international projects that make a difference to the lives of women and girls.
Barbie and Ken are having the time of their lives in the colourful and seemingly perfect world of Barbieland. After being expelled from Barbieland for being a less-than-perfect doll, Barbie and Ken set off to the real world to find true happiness.

Our Projects
Locally the Zonta Club of Wellington are working with the Wellington Women's House - Te Whare Awhi Wāhine o Whanganui-ā-Tara, a transitional housing provider for women that’s been operating in Wellington for the last 30 years. They provide a safe home for anyone identifying as a woman, over the age of 18, on low income or in transition.
Across Aotearoa New Zealand, we support the Grand Parents Raising Grandchildren Trust. They empower grandparents and whānau carers through their dedication to providing information, advice, support and advocacy specifically for full-time grandparent caregivers.
Zonta International works with other global organisations to build a better world for women and girls through service. Zonta's goal is to make a difference for women and girls across the globe through international projects and educational awards funded by the Zonta Foundation for Women and through the thousands of service and advocacy initiatives undertaken by Zonta clubs such as ours.
