Emma Lewisham

Co-Founder of Emma Lewisham Skin care

Emma Lewisham is the Co-Founder of Emma Lewisham, a skincare company established in New Zealand in 2019. Renowned for delivering evidence-based skincare that unites luxurious, high-performance natural formulations with industry-leading sustainability, Emma Lewisham is available globally — including MECCA in New Zealand and Australia; Harrods, Liberty, SpaceNK, The Gleneagles Hotel, and Niche Beauty across the UK and Europe; and Credo and Goop in the USA — as well as worldwide via emmalewisham.com.

Under Emma’s leadership, Emma Lewisham has become the world’s first climate-positive, circular designed beauty brand and introduced an industry-first circular beauty model — significantly reducing landfill waste with 200,000 refills sold and 120 tonnes of carbon saved.

Emma’s dedication to environmental accountability has earned her recognition as a champion of ethical business practices, with endorsement from Dr. Jane Goodall.

The brand also achieved a record-breaking B-Corp score of 121 in 2025.

With a background that includes postgraduate studies in physiology and biochemistry at Harvard University and recognition as New Zealand's 2025 Innovator of the Year, Emma has relentlessly pushed the boundaries of skincare science. In the brand’s unique formulation physiology-first approach and world-leading independent testing, they’ve validated that their reversed approach to formulation design has delivered products that have shown an ability to outperform leading brands. The scientific merit of this innovative approach has garnered the endorsement of a Nobel Prize Winner in Chemistry.

Beyond beauty, Emma is a long-standing member of 15 years and former board member of Zonta International. She is also a member of Global Women, a network of New Zealand’s most influential female leaders, working to drive inclusivity and diversity for stronger societal and economic growth.

The Zonta Club of Wellington invite you to join Emma Lewisham at the IWD26 Parliamentary Breakfast celebration.

Hosted by Hon Nicola Grigg, Minister for Women.
